A Note on Framing and Buying

  • The prices noted for the works on this website  include shipping and taxes. You pay only the stated price when you go to PayPal.

  • I have noted the type and size of the frame in the description for most of the paintings on this website. Following art conventions, the measurements list the height of the painting first.

  • Every piece of artwork may be purchased unframed, and I will reduce the price accordingly.

  • Pastels, watercolors, drawings and monotypes should be mounted under "glass". I use plastic glazing for my work to reduce the weight. "Gallery wrap" has a double meaning; plastic wrap to protect artwork that is usually matted and backed, but unframed, and canvas that wraps around the stretcher edges that may be painted. Canvases such as this may be left unframed.

  • I will send you a photograph of the artwork in its frame if you want to see it before you buy it. Most of my work is framed in very inexpensive frames. I recommend reframing artwork to suit your decor, and spend the effort and money to preserve the artwork with conservation framing. I do not do this because it would make the works much more expensive and you, as the buyer, is likely to not like my choices, and reframe it anyway.

  • Two similar paintings may have dissimilar prices. This is due to the price and quality of the frame it is currently mounted in. If you wish to discuss framing with me I invite you to contact me by e-mail.

  • All my artwork is unconditionally guaranteed (for a period of 2 months) and may be returned for a full refund (less shipping) if you are unhappy with it for any reason.

  • Extra large paintings require special packing and shipping. Please contact me for a quote.

  • Most of my work is available in reproduction. Some are Giclée prints which are very high tech inkjet prints, sometimes mounted on canvas and stretcher bars. Other work may be reproduced on paper or canvas as desired on my own inkjet printer. Please contact me by e-mail if you are interested in prints. Some works that are available are shown in the link to the left "reproductions".
