I guess I am a frustrated author because I do love to write and exercise my major in English literature. I will be adding articles to this section when I have the time. They are available for download as PDF files. Just click on the links.

A Little Essay on Impressionism
I wrote this article for myself quite a few years ago. I wanted to show how I have been influenced by the teachings of the Impressionists from teacher to teacher as well as give a brief history of the Impressionist group and how it started in France more than 100 years ago. However, it is more than that; it seemed important to reflect what was happening in the world at the time of the first Impressionist exhibition in 1874 to put this art movement into a context.
